Forms for MWR Customers

The Department of the Army has instituted a tracking system for Morale, Welfare and Recreation to better serve our customers. If you and your family members desire to use any of our MWR facilities, please complete the following application forms. Form #1 provides information on your household and Form #2 provides details on what interests you and your family. Gathering this data allows us to offer programs and services that meet your needs and enhance well-being for the Total Army Family.

What is Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) on Fort Belvoir?
Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), provides recreation and events to active and retired military and their families. Government employees, and government contractors can also use the facilities. Events throughout the year are also open to the public. Oktoberfest brings over 60,000 visitors to Fort Belvoir.

How many MWR facilities are located on Fort Belvoir?

Fort Belvoir MWR facilities include Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS), the Community Club, and Officers’ Club, Child Youth Services (CYS), our 3 gyms, two golf clubs, the marina, Benyuard Indoor Pool, Sosa Community Center, and the Van Noy Library. MWR also includes U.S. Army Community Service—offering information, education, and support services to the Fort Belvoir community. Our quarterly publication, the Belvoir Buzz, lists each facility and includes events and classes offered throughout the year. What is sponsorship on Fort Belvoir?

Sponsors can exhibit/ display products and services, customers can sample these products, and a sponsor can meet face to face with potential customers. How can I advertise on Fort Belvoir?

There are many opportunities on Fort Belvoir. The Belvoir Buzz, a quarterly publication of 6,000, is hand delivered to all of our residents on Fort Belvoir. This publication also is available on our Web site at www.belvoirmwr.com. Physical banners can be placed at our MWR facilities and a digital banner can be placed on our Web site.

Why should I sponsor or advertise on Fort Belvoir?

Fort Belvoir is unique. Many military families, government employees, and contractors live within a 15-mile radius of the post and use the facilities. There are over 2,000 military family Fort Belvoir residents, and 800 single soldiers who live on post. For a complete listing of demographics visit the demographics page.

Why are there 2 Fort Belvoir Web sites and can I advertise on both?

The official military Fort Belvoir Web site, www.belvoir.army.mil, can only link to other official government Web sites - this site is not available for advertising or sponsorship. However, MWR hosts www.belvoirmwr.com. This site is exclusively for MWR events and activities throughout the year. Web banner advertising is available.

How can I stay current with Fort Belvoir MWR events?
