Forms for MWR Customers

The Department of the Army has instituted a tracking system for Morale, Welfare and Recreation to better serve our customers. Fort Belvoir Lodging is Number 1 again!
Fort Belvoir’s temporary lodging has been named Army Lodging Operation of the Year, 2007, for facilities with 500 or more rooms! Congratulations to them for winning this Army-wide competition.



Fort Belvoir Lodging is within 12 miles of our nation's capital, and if you are visiting the Washington, D.C. area, we would welcome the opportunity to serve you. If you are looking for comfortable, affordable rooms with all the amenities of a first class hotel, check us out. Our rooms are nicely furnished and contain kitchenettes that are equipped with a microwave only, microwave and range top, or microwave and oven. All our rooms contain either a double or queen bed. Our rooms range from a single room with shared bath, single room with private bath, suites, and one or two bedroom apartments. Several of our buildings are newly renovated. Rooms are equipped with toasters, can openers, dishes, pots and pans (if appropriate), eating utensils, hair dryers, room safes, in-room coffee service, ironing boards, irons and jogging vests. Upon request, we provide high chairs, cribs, and roll-a-way beds.  We also offer six handicap rooms.

All our guest rooms are non-smoking.

Our facilities contain an exercise room, lounge, laundry facilities, conference room, and several picnic pavilions. Give us a call, we welcome your visit and hope that you will be a frequent visitor to Fort Belvoir.
 

Reservations and Eligibility

Temporary Duty (TDY) personnel may obtain a reservation 6 months in advance. Length of stay is based on official orders as long as space is available. No pets allowed.

Military personnel on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) may initially obtain a reservation 6 months in advance for up to 30 days. Pets (dogs, cats, fish and small birds) are permitted only in designated rooms, 2 pet maximum. Cleaning fee and daily fees will be assessed. 

DOD Civilians may stay if traveling on official PCS orders, on a space available basis.

Space Available/Unofficial Travel: Call 30 days prior to arrival. If space is available, you may book up to five nights at a time.  No pets allowed.



Accommodations

We offer various types of rooms: Distinguished Visitor's Quarters (DVQ), one and two bedroom apartments, suites, and single rooms with or without kitchenettes.

Each room is equipped with a digital alarm clock/radio, plenty of drawer space, lamps, a desk, a table with 1 to 2 chairs, a TV (with basic cable and HBO) with remote and a VCR/DVD player, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, a toaster, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a set of dishes and silverware. Safes are available in the rooms to store valuables.

Housekeeping is on a daily basis. Coffee and tea is replaced daily.

Telephones/Computers

Sprint is the long distance carrier for our facility. Direct commercial service is accessible from room phones. Phones also have voicemail for your convenience.  Each guestroom is equipped with no charge High Speed DSL.

A free, on-post, shuttle service runs Monday through Friday from 1600 to 2000 and on Saturday and Sunday from 1000 to 1800.

Directions to Fort Belvoir Lodging Office From Interstate 95

The Fort Belvoir Lodging Office is located at 9775 Gaillard Road, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Traveling north or south on I-95 take exit 166A (Fort Belvoir/Newington) and stay on VA 7100 (Fairfax County Parkway) going east, until it ends at US 1 (Richmond Highway). At the traffic light make a left (north) onto US 1 (Richmond Highway). Stay to the right and at the first traffic light turn right (east) onto Pohick Road. Follow road to Tully Gate.  It is required that anyone entering Fort Belvoir clear the security check point, please make sure to have proper identification, registration and/or rental car contract available. Stay on Pohick Road; this will become 12th Street, through the first and second lights (Theote Road and Gunston Road). Turn right onto Belvoir Road at the third traffic light (a chapel is on the left corner). Stay on Belvoir Road through the first traffic light (16th Street).Turn left onto 18th Street. 18th Street will "Y", stay to the right (DO NOT go down the hill). Knadle Hall, building 470, is the 5-story building located on the left.
