Forms for MWR Customers

The Department of the Army has instituted a tracking system for Morale, Welfare and Recreation to better serve our customers. If you and your family members desire to use any of our MWR facilities, please complete the following application forms. Form #1 provides information on your household and Form #2 provides details on what interests you and your family. Gathering this data allows us to offer programs and services that meet your needs and enhance well-being for the Total Army Family.

Fort Belvoir has a vast selection of recreation and fitness options to choose from. Modern fitness centers offer a pleasant atmosphere to help you stick with your personal workout program. MWR also maintains tennis courts, softball fields and a running track at Pullen Field. Runners will enjoy choosing from any of our running trails with a variety of distances on Fort Belvoir's North and South Post.

Coach Needed
The Fort Belvoir Women's Post Level Basketball team is in need of a coach. Interested coaches should call 703-806-5589 and submit their resumes.

pilates Pilates at Specker Field House
Specker Field House is now offering a Pilates class on Monday's and Wednesday's from 11:30am - 12:30pm. The cost is $5 per class.

Personal Training
Looking for a way to get fit? Sign up for a personal trainer at Graves Fitness Center, AMC Wellness Center and the Body Shop. Group personal training packages available. For more information, please call 703-806-5589 or 703-806-5368.

Cardio Incentive Program

Are you looking for a new way to exercise? Come by the Graves Fitness Center to fill out a cardio incentive card. Document your run time or exercise each time you work out. Patro
ns add their totals for each month at the end of each month. Awards given after patrons have reached the amount of miles needed to obtain a prize. For more information, please call Eric at 703-806-3100.

Microfit Fitness Assessments
Schedule a fitness assessment today! There is no cost and testing includes blood pressure, resting heart rate, and body fa
t (to name a few!). Eligible participants are Active Duty military, DoD civilians, retired military and family members. Please bring a towel, water and gym attire, allow for 45 minutes to test. Testing hours are by appointment for Saturday and Sunday. To schedule an appointment, please call Tina Collier at 703-806-5369.

Karate/Self Defense
This class is on Mondays and Thursdays, 5 to 8 p.m. at Sosa Community Center. For details or to sign up call, 703-805-3714.

Instructor Needed
Spinning, Aerobic instructors (group stationary bike class) as contract or sub. Call the Graves Fitness Center, 703-806-5589 if you can spin it! Or teach Aerobics.

1. Not stretching enough
2. Lifting too much weight
3. Not warming up properly
4. Not cooling down after any type of workout
5. Exercising too intensely
6. Not drinking enough water
7. Not exercising intensely enough
8. Leaning too heavily on a stairstepper
9. Jerking while lifting weights
10. Consuming energy bars and sports drinks during moderate workouts
