The
Department of the Army has instituted a tracking system for Morale,
Welfare and Recreation to better serve our customers. If you and your
family members desire to use any of our MWR facilities, please complete
the following application forms. Form
#1 provides information on your household and Form
#2 provides details on what interests you and your family. Gathering
this data allows us to offer programs and services that meet your needs
and enhance well-being for the Total Army Family.

Barden Education
Center is located in Building 1017 on Belvoir Road, just south
of the Dewitt Hospital. From Pence Gate drive south past the
Hospital and turn left on to Langfitt-Street. Make another
left turn into the parking lot in back of the building. From
Gunston Road take 9th Street to Belvoir and turn right on Belvoir
Road and proceed with the above directions.
Education
Center Survey
The Army Continuing Education System (ACES) Division is conducting
an Installation Education Needs Assessment to identify the educational
needs of soldiers, family members and civilians. The results of
the assessment will be used to revamp, if needed, the educational
services and programs at Fort Belvoir. To access the survey go
to http://www.army.jccbi.gov/aces/naq.asp.
You must choose Northeast as the region and Fort Belvoir as your
installation. Participation is voluntary and visitors are welcome
to use computers located in the Barden Education Center Multi-Use
Learning Library, Room 112 from 0800 - 1300 and 1400 - 1700 M-F
or 1800 - 2100, M-Th. For more information, please contact, Nancy

DISCOVERY Program
The DISCOVERY internet program is now available in the Barden
Multi-Learning Facility. DISCOVERY offers guidance and information
to help you make important career and educational decisions.
It offers career inventories and help you explore the career
you select and the training needed for your career choice. The
Learning Facility is open Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1700 and in
the evenings, Monday - Thursday, 1800 - 2100. Please call 805-9254
for more information.
