CDS fees are established
annually by the Department of Defense standards and are based
on total family income. Parents must provide a recent leave and
earning statement (LES) or pay check stub, when completing the
fee application during the registration process. Parents not providing
this documentation will be automatically charged the highest rate.
Child care fees are subject to change and a 30 day advance notice
will be given if such a change becomes necessary. FCC providers
are encouraged to follow the CDS fee policy and will require separate
contact with patrons to determine fee payments. Adjustments to
fees due to increase or decrease in income may be considered through
SPS, bldg 950, however, extensive documentation is required. Court
order legal separation, divorce documentation, and or ACS approved
hardships are examples of adjustments that may be warranted.
VACATION/SICK
LEAVE: Fees are determined annually
and include a 2-week leave provision. Parents must use this leave
in blocks of 5 or 10 consecutive workdays. Advanced notice of
at least one week must be provided. Parents new to CYS may apply
to use their leave after 3 months of enrollment. Unused leave
will not be carried over from one enrollment year to the next
or credited. Leave can be used for any purpose (i.e. vacation,
illness, etc). Child must be absent from CYS program for leave
policy to be applied.
PAYMENT PROCEDURES:
Child care payments are made in advance of actual services. Prompt
payment is anticipated.
CDC FULL DAY
PROGRAMS: Fees are payable in advance either monthly
or semi-monthly (two times per month). Care will be denied if
fees are not paid in full. Late payment fees apply to each account/child
not to each family. All fees will be paid by the 3rd working day
of the pay period (beginning or mid month). On the 4th working
day of the pay period a $15.00 late fee will be charged. Care
will be denied on the 5th day if fees are not paid in full.
CDC HOURLY CARE:
The Hourly Care charge is $4.00 per hour with a minimum charge
of $8.00 for patrons in income categories II-VI. The hourly charge
for patrons in income category I is $2.50. Patrons must complete
an income eligibility form to receive Category I hourly rates.
A 10 percent discount is available for any additional children
in the family attending during the same reservation time. Fees
for hourly care are payable at the completion of the hourly care
appointment.
FCC FEES:
Payment schedules and late fees are established by each provider
on DA for 5226-R.
