The Community CenterThe Fort Belvoir Community Center is the information headquarters for Fort Belvoir recreation resources, and includes the Leisure Travel Services (LTS) Office. It provides recreational opportunities for all authorized patrons and has some of the latest games and areas to play them in, such as the newly constructed game room complete with multiple Nintendo Wii Systems. First stop and first choice for all your recreation needs. The Community Center is the information center for Fort Belvoir recreation resources. A one stop shop for travel information and tickets to just about any event you want to attend. Register for a variety of classes, get involved in special interest clubs. Military Insignia Fairs

Join us for a Military Insignia Fair, where you can buy, sell, trade or collect various Military Memorabilia from all over the world and from every imaginable era. Vendors will set up between 6am and 8am. Events runs from 8am-1pm. The Community Center is located at Belvoir and Taylor Road, building 1200, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. New York City Getaway Trip

Spend a fun-filled day in fabulous New York City! Whether it's shopping in upscale Madison Avenue, taking in a show on Broadway or wandering the city streets of the Big Apple, New York offers something for everybody! Cost is $45.00 per person, and includes transportation only. You can choose one of the many different destinations and sights. Bus departs from the Ft. The Community Center has Yoga classes available! Mondays - $8.00 per class (pay as you go)

Strum that Guitar at the Community Center
The Guitar Room has increased its inventory by 7 new guitars to compliment the existing instruments. The new equipment includes 4 electric-beginner guitars, two acoustics-beginner guitars and one acoustic-intermediate instrument. Guitar lessons are offered year round for beginners through expert level. Cost is $75 per month and appointments can be made for: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning at 4 pm. Piano Lessons at the Community Center
Fort Belvoir Community Center offers beginner and intermediate level piano lessons for both adults and children. Classes cost $75.00 per month and appointments are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays all year round. To set up an instruction appointment, please call the Piano Instructor at (703) 799-8741. Drum Lessons at the Community Center

Camping Sites
Camping is no longer available at Fort Belvoir. The installation is no longer resourced to provide or maintain safe and appropriate sites for camping. As funds may become available in the future to establish and maintain appropriate areas for camping, the installation may resume renting such space to authorized users. Until then, we will refer campers to other local, off-post campgrounds as well as other military installations with campgrounds in Northern Virginia.

International Amateur Billiard Leagues
We Want You! The Association for P.O.O.L. now offers the US armed forces the ability to compete in international amateur billiard leagues. Come out and show your colors for TAP’s new military division! All active duty, retirees and DoD civilians can join the TAP League. The leagues will be played on the pool tables at the Community Center. The minimum number of teams will be six to start & the handicapping of players is done through League Play. Arts & Crafts Center Framing Class 3rd Sat of each Month / 8 am-12 noon Basic framing techniques are taught the 3rd Saturday of the month from 8 am-12 noon. $60 includes an 8 x10 kit. The kit contains a picture, mat board, foam core, glass, molding and mounting materials as well as use of the facility. Students will go home with framed artwork ready to hang on the wall.
